Comedian at Large: 2008

There is a Chinese friend of mine who writes Ha-ha! or Hee-hee! at the end of his letters, and sometimes inserts these words in-between paragraphs. Although I have known him only for a short while as a friend, yet I feel he has great wisdom at a very young age. Ha-ha!

All the philosophies of the world define a state known as "eternal happiness", presumably when you are in a state of bliss in heaven. Imagine a person showing his teeth in a beautiful Toothpaste-ad smile for a few minutes, then imagine him being in that state, showing his shining teeth for eternity--- and there you have it, a picture of eternal happiness. (Sans the bad breath.)

But before we get into that state we can experience temporary happiness in this world for a while, by forgetting our worries and laughing-- at anything that amuses us, even our own selves as well as those we dislike or even hate. Ha-ha!

Medical Science has proven the benefits of laughing. Controlled studies on subjects have revealed that the blood circulation goes up even by as much as 20% when you laugh.

People were made to see comic videos and melancholic films in turns-- and the results showed that people who had watched sad movies actually had a drop in the blood circulation, while those who saw the comic videos had a bonanza. Hee-hee!

(Is my Chinese friend reading this blog? If yes, then Ha-ha, if not, then Hee-hee! Either way he cant lose. Ho-ho!)

Also laughter has salutary effects on things like dislike and hatred and animosity. When you laugh at them they become funny and cease to bother you. However we will cross the hurdles when we come to them later. Ha-ha!

Have you ever thought what a funny sense has been put into the human mind by God?-- the sense of laughter! Something tickles your funny bone and the muscles of your face contract or stretch, your mouth opens and a hoarse sound proceeds from your lips, a sound you would not otherwise make-- which sounds like Haha! Heehee! Hoho! or even Hawhaw! or HeeHaw! Or there even may be the sound of the screeching of car brakes that go Heeeeeeeeee...heeeeee! And all this has been put there for your benefit-- to increase your blood circulation by 20% and to give you a long life!! Haha!

So, ladies and gentlemen, friends, Romans, countrymen,brethren and countrymen of all countries, hear ye! Come and watch my comic videos if you want a few laughs to increase the blood circulation by 20%-- per video! So if you watch 20 comic videos at a time that will boost your circulation by 20 x 20% = 400% !!!
